CACC received notification over the weekend that two students tested positive for the COVID virus, both attend the Childersburg campus. The students are are quarantined and under the care of a medical provider in accordance with public health protocols. Contract tracing was completed. As a result, several other students were quarantined due to direct exposure.
The College does not currently have any restrictions in place however, as COVID cases continue to rise, we encourage everyone to practice social distancing, frequently wash your hands, sanitize, and wear a face covering if it makes you more comfortable.
We will continue to evaluate each situation carefully in compliance with guidelines to ensure the safety of all students, faculty and staff.
